Brighton has been rated among the top 10 cities in the UK to own a dog in, according to new research.
Raw dog food brand ProDog Raw has carried out an extensive study across a range of factors that matter most to dogs and their owners.
Factors include the number of vets by population, the number of dog trainers by population, the number of pet supplies stores by population and the average size of private gardens.
Additionally, the size, average proximity and the number of users of its parks were also taken into consideration by ProDog Raw.

Each city was awarded points depending on how well it was fared in those categories to produce a final ranking.
Where did Brighton place on the list?
Brighton ranked in seventh place on the list scoring best for the average size of private gardens, the number of pet supplies stores by population, the number of dog trainers by population, the number of dog-friendly pubs by population and a low score on how congested the roads are.
