A Virginia cat that weighs a whopping 40 pounds found his fur-ever home this week. Richmond Animal Care and Control posted about the gray and white kitty Wednesday in an attempt to coax cat lovers to consider making him theirs. “Did you wake up today and say, ‘let’s adopt the largest cat anyone has ever seen?'” the shelter wrote in a Facebook post. “If so, we have the cat for you.” Patches the cat weighs 40.3 pounds and is on a “very special” diet and exercise plan, the shelter wrote.
