More people than ever are turning to Feeding Windsor-Essex’s pet food bank as inflation hits grocery bills hard for humans and pet food. Pearl the chihuahua, who was born in Florida, took the Guinness World Record after measuring 9.14cm (3.59in) in height and 12.7cm (5in) in length. An Ontario woman feared her dog was going to die after ingesting fibers from a $9 rope toy. “I was panicking. Easter bunny sales have been banned by pet shop chains to stop “impulse” rabbit purchases.
